Babies and beyond

 

I am currently studying a teaching degree, and am fascinated by what I am learning.   

For instance, did you know how intricately babies are formed. How they have certain stages to reach and how they then reach these in enriched environments. Especially in a loving environment, where they have many options of things to do, and where they are allowed to choose for themselves. Youngsters learn by playing and exploring, and by using their 5 senses. (see The New learning Revolution, G. Dryden & J. Vos for more information)

Secondly, I love how our brains are formed.  How we think and build memories, and how we can change our brain by refocusing our thoughts and minds on other things.  Good and wholesome things. (Look up Dr. Caroline Leaf for more information)

A third thing that astounds me, is the fact that my friend was meant to have surgery in her spine and neck in October 2015, her pain was unbearable.  She went for a scan in December, the doctor told her that the operation is no longer needed.  That currently, there are no symptoms of aggravating problems, either in her neck or spine.  It is a miracle!! 

I am beginning to realise that these three are somehow interlinked.  That the God, who created us, designed us to somehow learn and grow in an enriched environment like the babies.  When we are totally focused on Jesus Christ, He heals us by His Holy Spirit, in an enriched environment.  When we change our thoughts from seeing the negative, to thoughts that are positive and possible for our almighty God, we see a real change take place.  Even see a miracle like this one!!!
